There are many things to do at the Sabbath Center and surrounding area.
Outside you can take a walk through our acres for wildlife and observe the birds of the air and the flowers in the field. Fly a kite, or play ball games, ladder golf or other lawn games. Observe the night sky around a camp fire and listen for the coyotes to sing. Or relax on the large deck of the house with a book or a barbeque while taking in the sights and sounds of the surrounding countryside. Birds will serenade you there early in the morning for three seasons of the year. In the winter you can play in the snow or just enjoy the winter scenery.
Inside the Lodge you can enjoy conversation around the fireplace, watch a dvd (yours, ours or one from Netflix) or play a Wii game on the 6' X 8' screen. Play ping pong or pool in our new game room. Put one of our puzzles together or play board games in the great room, loft or basement sitting area.
Neighboring Lake Carroll (www.lakecarrollassociation.com) has a golf course and club house open to the public. Special arrangements can also be made for our guests to go swimming or to take a boat ride on the Lake or ride an ATV around the Trail system. In the winter time you can ski cross county or down hill or take a tube ride down the side of the ski hill.
